Founder Larry Gilmore brings more than 30 years of affordable-housing development and finance experience to the work of expanding attainable homeownership. Founder & CEO

Larry Gilmore, CMB, AMP

Larry has spent more than 30 years in affordable housing development and finance, focused on increasing access to and the sustainability of homeownership for low-, moderate-, and middle-income households. He earned a B.S. in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University’s College of Design and an MPA in Organizational Development and Public Policy from Drake University. He began his career managing HUD-subsidized housing and later led national affordable-housing strategies with lenders and trade associations.

Larry is an Amazon Housing Equity Accelerator Fellow. His career spans affordable-housing strategy, mortgage banking, housing-finance leadership, and capital access. He founded Clear Urban Development to connect that experience with hands-on development: creating affordable homes for purchase and helping property owners understand what their land could support.
